Come join your neighbors and friends and spend a special day in OLD POWAY PARK at the 2011 SAM HINTON FOLK HERITAGE FESTIVAL.

Listen to the wide variety of acoustic and folk music performed by San Diego-based musicians, try some contra dancing or the open mike stage, hear some fine storytellers, and jam with a variety of fiddle players. Bring a picnic if you like, and food is also available in the park. Crafters will also be there to sell their handicrafts.

Patty introduces and leads some of the finest songs of Maybelle, Sara, and A.P Carter, the pioneering country music trio. Bring along the instrument of your choice to play and sing along. Chorded leadsheets provided.

3:00 PM - TANYA ROSE STAGE
Patty is joined by guitarist/song stylist GREGORY MARTIN CAMPBELL for a set of original and traditional songs, rendered on guitar, banjo, tri-cone resonator, and jaw harp, that will honor the memory of the late, great TANYA ROSE.

Come join some of San Diego's favorite performers as they help WOOD ‘N’ LIPS OPEN MIC celebrate 10 wonderful years of making music. Hosted by TIM WOODS, this day-long festival features a variety of styles and musicians.

PATTY is the featured guest for an evening of acoustic music at the POWAY FOLK CIRCLE.

Following a 30-minute set of her original and traditional music, Patty will join attendees in a round-robin song circle of acoustic traditional, folk, roots, blues, country, bluegrass, Americana, world and original music, led by host JEFF BERTINO.

POWAY SONG CIRCLE meetings are free and open to the public, family friendly and a lot of fun.

On September 17, ALLEN SINGER passed away suddenly, leaving behind an amazing legacy of music and service to the San Diego Folk Music Community. Come join the SAN DIEGO FOLK HERITAGE family in celebration of the life and music of Allen Singer. Performers TBA.
